It is our principal goal, as is the board’s requirement, to provide meaningful continuing education activities that will enhance the knowledge, skill and expertise of the licensee’s, within his / her chosen field of practice. In addition to providing valuable licensure renewal information in a summarized format, EngineerCE.com has now incorporated “recommended courses” that we believe will further enhance the user’s interest in current topics and events.


Summary License renewal requirement
PDH / CE Hours Required: 30 PDH hours biennially
Renewal deadline: April 30 biennially, Even year renewals for Last names A thru L
April 30 biennially, Odd year renewals for Last names M thru Z
State Approval: The Kansas State Board of Technical Professions does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Course selection is determined by the engineer; however, course selection must meet the requirements of the Kansas Board of Professional Engineers.
Course Objective: PDH's can be technical, ethical, or managerial content based; however, they must posses an underlying objective to expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s chosen field of practice.
PDH / CE Carryover: A maximum of 30 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period except for the first reporting period.
Online Courses: Accepted. No limit on number of PDH that can be achieved through online continuing education.
