It is our principal goal, as is the board’s requirement, to provide meaningful continuing education activities that will enhance the knowledge, skill and expertise of the licensee’s, within his / her chosen field of practice. In addition to providing valuable licensure renewal information in a summarized format, EngineerCE.com has now incorporated “recommended courses” that we believe will further enhance the user’s interest in current topics and events.


Summary License Renewal Requirement
PDH / CE Hours Required: 24 PDH hours biennially
Renewal deadline: December 31, Odd years
State Approval: The Alaska State Board of Registration for Architect, Engineers and Land Surveyors does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Course selection is determined by the engineer; however, course selection must meet the requirements of the Alaska Board of PE.
Course Objective: PDH's can be technical, ethical, or managerial content based; however, they must address the public\'s health, safety and welfare and posses an underlying objective to expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s chosen field of practice. Note: For multiple registrations within the state of Alaska, a total of 24 hours is required, with a minimum of at least 8 hours earned in each registration held.
PDH / CE Carryover: A maximum of 12 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
Online Courses: Accepted. No limit on number of PDH that can be achieved through online continuing education.
